The amaryllis my sister sent for christmas is blooming, yeah. Unfortune it took a tumble, fell off the table & blooms are broken.It did once before, I staked it,was enjoying the 3 remaining blooms.Next one I'll set in a deep pot & stake good. Blessings to all.

I emptied my garden bucket a week ago, this block of ice is still frozen.Is under my dogwood tree.Right now it's 32* & warming up. Yeah! nice bday present! Blessings everyone!

Enough of this below freezing weather!

Having to carry 5 gallons of water to goat pen every morn.Two nannies are nursing twins.Keeping chickens water thawed too.

Sadly, Mabel, my potbelly died this week. Old age caught up with her, she had a good life here. Took 3 days for the ground to thaw enough to bury her. My son had to use a comealong to pull her into the hole. She was a fat girl.Kids will miss her.

Trying to keep flowers covered up, Ashley's panseys are still blooming.Ev eryone stay warm, seed catalogs are coming in.Have a blessed day everyone, Diane
