Hey ya'll, I'm back home now! Had a wonderful trip. Grand Canyon was awesome! Have never seen anything more breathe taking. Met a Danish Biker group, had to speak to them.As my father came from Copenhagen.Spent time at my father's grave,which I haven't seen in 50 yrs. I shipped back seeds of the Mexican Bird of Paradise Bush. It's gorgerous!Left my cell phone in my son's car, he shipped it to me that afternoon. My kids are having a field day with that.
I'll post pics tomorrow as I haven't un packed yet. Have to go feed, then go to the grocery store.Cubbard is bare,lol.Got to run a vacumn through this house too,my son doesn't clean house.He did keep his dishes washed up. My dogs were glad to see me,especially little man Salmen.He's my baby.
Sage is blooming there, guess who sneezed all week.Still allergic to it. So is my son.My dau.in law is making my son go to an allergist. Not good for a Paramedic to have an allergy attack.Well, this is it for today, blessings to all, Diane
Hey ya'll, taking a 5 min. break. Am packed, I'm ready. Quick question? Do any of ya'll have a bottle brush bush? My friend Lisa seen them @ the plant sale. She's going to get one for me.They are expenisve at nurseries. This place is $3.00. I'm not sure what the leaves look like.I'll work on my full sun garden when I come home. Will have to rest the 1st. day home I'm sure. Anyway,blessings to all.Diane
Hi ya'll, our local nursery is having their end of summer sale. I got more butterfly bushes, pholox,gaura. Will go back & get more when I return from Arizona. I'm leaving tues. flying to Az.spending a week with my oldest son&dau.inlaw.Will visit my daddy's grave, haven't seen it since '59. Going to the grand canyon also. I'm excited! My son Bobby will care for my goats & chickens.He'll really appreciate all the work I do here after a week of caring for critters.lol.
So tomorrow I'll fix his meals & deep water my plants.Praying for rain while I'm gone as I know he won't water.We've gotton two good rains this week. I weeded one flower bed, raked out the community pen.Got too hot for me.Be glad when fall gets here.

I went over Lisa's yesterday evening. Got another four o'clock bush that I love the different colors.Red Cannas, porker lily, etc. I made pics of the vine we need help identifiy. I don't how to post to my blog, so go to my photo's.Thanks, have a safe Labor Day. We are doing yard work this morn, then I'll bbq.Blessings to all, Diane
