Yesterday, I went with my senior group from church to Ashville. We ate, then went to the farmers market.I got a bushell for the freezer, plus a bag of Honey Crisp for eating, sweet taters, & the biggest red peppers I've ever seen! Best part was finally meeting my email pals Suzanne & David.We've been pals over 4 yrs & never met before. Good food, apples, friendship, brautiful mths.It don't get any better. Now, I got to start putting apples in the freezer.Be getting good eats this winter.Got to plant collards this afternoon.
Got to run to wally world & feedstore.Who told Rascal goats have to feed ever day?Have a blessed day everyone!
John was moved to a regular room yesterday evening.Thanks for all your prayers. He may have to move in with me. I have to go scrounge up a single bed, rearrange my sewing room.He's in a bad relationship & that has alot to do with his diabetics problem.He's a hard worker, so he'll be a big help to me.
His Mom,Gina was back at the ER last lite.She has stomach ulcers & they are acting up again. She's worried about John.He's her only son.And Az. is so far away.
I went back to the plant sale, finish buying plants for my pink&purple memorarial garden for Ashley. Can't plant today as I'm hitting a few yard sales, then going visit John.Later, I have to go play with the grands.I'll sleep good tonite,lol. I'll post a pic next week & one of my new baby goat.She is so pretty, black with a little white.

Hey folks, glad everyone enjoyed my pics. My printer broke, so soon as I get a new one, I'm scanning a pic we had made.Me in old western clothes, holding a shotgun. Everyone who has seen it says I look natural.
We moved to Az. in 1955 for my mama's bad health, daddy died 6 mths. later. We stayed there till "59, then moved back to Ga. I married my GI in 60, followed that man everywhere. After we retired, we settle in SC in "77. Moved on my farm in "93. Lost him in "99, been raising goats ever since.Love it!
I'm from a small farming area, Red Oak, Ga. southwest of Atlanta, Buddy was a city boy from Atlanta.Made an interesting marriage. I've always growned flowers. Grew tomaters in buckets on my patio in Germany.That's ya'lls history lesson for today,lol. Take care & blessings.Diane
I upload some pics to my profile. The bush is the one I brought home seeds from. I went back to the plant sale. I have more butterfly bushes, only color I don't have now is yellow. More phloxes, one lonely hibiscus, don't know it's color.Don't matter as I planted it in the row of hib"s & Rose of Sharons. I planted bushes, now I have a pink& purple butterfly garden.Got two purple Asters too.Soon as I finish my butterfly garden, I'll take a pic. Got my dau. a patio rose in memoray of Ashley's bday. She was 26 friday. Hard to believe it's going on two years since she passed.
I love these cool nites.Good sleeping weather.I think I'm back on SC time, Az. is 3 hrs behind us.I'm back to my sleep pattern now.
Loved my trip, have wonderful memories. Now it's back to dealing with goats, chickens, & housework, yuck!Enjoyed working outside yesterday.
My flowers were blooming when I checked on them wed. morn.Catmint is out doing it's self. Shasta daisy gave me 2 blooms.Hummers were everywhere, they love the Turk'sw cap.Found the phloxes too.Still have a bunch of weeding to do.One day at a time.
