Warmer, Wetter Weather

We had a high temp that rose out of the the thirties -- 45 degrees. It was wonderful, even with the rain.

But the cyclamen I planted by the front door still look decimated.  Not very jolly.  I guess I better take them out and replace them with fake poinsettiias or red tinsel garland.  That would be more festive.

 

Red Cyclamen and Arborvitae

I lifted the canna lilies from the large pot by the front door, and planted an arborvitae instead and surrounded it with red cyclamen. It looked pretty good yesterday.

 

But when I got home tonight the red blossoms were all sad and frozen.  It never got above freezing today.  Good thing I took this picture when I did.  I hope they come back.

...must really be working.  I can already walk with ease.  I will still wear the brace until the bruises start fading, just to make sure I don't re-injure it.  Thank you, my friends.
