My hubby is sick and didn't want to go anywhere, and I didn't want to go alone. Missing the home improvement show isn't a big deal and according to weather .com our fall foliage hasn't reached peak color yet. Too bad, because we're in for a lot of rain and I don't know when the next good time for a scenic drive will be.
I didn't do as much with the garden this summer as I had hoped. And now I probably won't get all my autumn gardening tasks done either. Last week I had pneumonia, and everyone says I should take it easy for good long while.
Oh, my hubby got a composter a few weeks ago. I've been bending his ear about it for years, and he finally saw the light.
This weekend is going to be gorgeous -- crisp and sunny. I'm going to try to fit in a scenic drive through fall foliage. The main event this weekend, though, is the Home Improvement Show.
Paul and I did manage to get away for a weekend in September. We went to Newport, OR and stayed at the Embarcadero. It was near the Historic Newport Bayfront and the view from our balcony was inspiring. It was very relaxing -- just what the doctor ordered.
I hope everyone is enjoying the change of seasons as much as I am.
