I enjoy watching the dragonfly's that come to my patio each day.

They are so unique. One took time to sit on my big toe this morning...

It's face is so cute.

I have also taken some pictures of more growth in my palms out font.

There is another bird nest in one of my potted plants on the porch.

Looks like the mother has a lot of sitting to do with all those eggs she has laid!

I cleaned the bird pond and captured a picture of a frog resting on one o my Lily Pads,

also groomed a few of my plants. 

Rain is on the way so there will be no need to water them.

It was in the 50's when I woke this morning, and is suppose to stay nice the rest of the week.

What a nice time to enjoy the outdoors...

Florida is getting rain and I am sure the drought will be no more for them. Just hope the storm

doesn't turn into somthing more serious.

Not much to blog concerning my flowers and Vegetables. I do need to weed in some places today.

Happy Sunday Everyone.

I went garage sale shopping yesterday and ended up at some Antique stores looking for things to put in my yard. No luck but enjoyed getting out. We went to one place called Gatorville Village and was able to view a couple of BIG GATORS. Wow so glad they were in a fenced area. I love going to different places on the weekend. It has been raining off and on since Friday,  too wet to do much in the yard. I really wish Florida would get some of what we are, they need it so bad... Will for sure remember them in my prayers....

She dug the plot on Monday, the soil was rich and fine
But she forgot to put the dinner on, so out we went to dine.

She planted roses Tuesday, she says they are a must.
They really were quite lovely, but she forgot to dust.

On Wednesday it was daisies they opened with the sun,
All pinks and whites and yellows, but the laundry wasn't done.

The poppies came on Thursday all bright and cherry red,
I guess she really was engrossed, she never made the bed.

It was violets here on Friday in colors she adores,
It never bothered her at all, the dirt upon our floors.

Saturday I hired a maid, I'd not admit defeat,
She can garden all she wants now and the house will still be neat

It's nearly lunchtime Sunday I cannot find the maid,
Oh I don't believe it.

She's out there alongside my wife with her own spade!

This was so cute, I had to share it with you on my BLOG.

Today was so beautiful here.

I spent most of my time putting new plants in my yard.

Also re potted a few I had bought at Lowes in Celebration of "My Mother".

She loved working in her yard and had a green thumb like no other. 

I once gave her a Poinsettia for Christmas and it lived for many years. She was so talented.

Everyone who knew her, loved her.

She lit a room up when she walked in.

She never met a stranger and all was welcome to eat at her table.

What a great sense of humor she had.

I was her first of seven children.

I miss her terribly and am so proud I was blessed to be her Daughter.

Hi My GFriends...

In case you didn't know, gardening is so addictive!

Enjoyed a site seeeing trip with my husband yesterday to Biloxi Mississippi. Was so great seeing how many new Homes, Businesses, Hotels and Casinos have returned to the once devistated coast line since Katrina.

We ate at The Hard Rock Cafe and really enjoyed seeing all the displays on the walls there.

Today I managed to get several plants in the ground up front. I can't wait to see all the new growth.

We have only been in this home a year, and already I can see what a change we have made. All my neighbors have thanked us for the love we have for our yard. The folks who were here before were far from clean.

It really makes a difference not only to your home but also your neighborhood when you take pride in your yard.

I have always felt that you can tell a persons personality by the looks of their yard!

So glad I am addictive to making mine a pleasant view...

Today is my Birthday....

Wow,  how blessed I feel being able to celebrate another year!

I have always said age is a state of mind, so today I am 56 years young.

It's so true that nothing stays the same and how true that is when ever I look in the mirrow!

I consider my birthday one step closer to Graduation Day.

The day I will be welcomed back home to my Father in heaven, to celebrate my lifes journeys here on earth...

In " My Garden"  I find is a  place for solitude.

A reflection of my thoughts and dreams!

My thoughts grow as freely as the flowers, and my dreams live on forever in my mind.

What a beautiful gift we are given when the beauty of our hard work comes alive.

Nature is a gift we all can enjoy, so often we depend on its artwork to brighten our spirit.

How thankful I am for the masterpiece I have created in "My Garden"...

Q: What do you call rabbits that marched in a long sweltering Easter parade? 
A: Hot, cross bunnies. 

I must admit, Spring is my favorite season of the year!

It's like having a new baby...

It is really hard work, but the rewards are like no other.

I so enjoy planting new plants and watching their beauty bloom.

I also enjoy the birds who wake me each morning with song.

I  find a peace like no other, from the beauty of all that is new around me.

Spring oh Spring what would we do without YOU !
