It is so hot here in the 90's and humid you would think Indiana feels like Florida!!
The hail we had a few months ago damaged alot of my specialty pots but I managed
to save a few vines. I covered the vines that I hand planted from seed on the fence
rows as they were up about 6 inches then. They are special MG's and Tropical vines and
guess what I have 2 Climbing milkweed vines and I just bought a 3rd thanks to a wonderful
woman vine grower!! I just got my seeds today and will plant them tonight.
On saturday last week around 6pm I put on my cloth slip on shoes and went outside and watered not stopping
for anything as it was hot and so we stayed in and watched movies!! Well I took my shower and put on
socks right after I got inside and I get up sunday morning and my left foot the middle toe was hurting
and I was limping a bit didn"t think much about it as you know I Have Osteo-arthritis and Fibro and Diabetes.
So sunday night about 1:30 AM I took off my sock to make sure I had not twisted my middle toe and
Wow!! my toe was purple and my foot has swollen up really bad and there was a red streak going
up my foot!! Whatever it was bit me through my darn shoe and no it did not get inside my shoe they fit
really snuggly so nothing went down them.
I still do not know what I was bit with could have been a spider but I just don't know
usually it itches really bad when a spider bites you no itching? I have bit enough by wolf spiders and also once
by a brown recluse so I k now the feeling of it but this time is is swelling and the whole toes and ball of
my foot is swollen and very painful and have hardly any feeling to them. Yes . I went to the ER they gave me two kinds
of anti-biotics and I have been warm water soaking it thats helped a bit but man it hurts like all get out!!
I need some good luck for a change people send me some okay!!
hugs and blessings
Carol
