Well, it's the week before pay day and the cupboards are pretty bare. Not to worry...the gardens has saved the day. Last night my wife told me to go see what I could get out of the garden so we could have some sort of dinner that evening. Check out the haul I brought in....
All of this produce made a wonderful diner of roasted potatoes with zuchs and brats!!! YUM!!!

I took some pictures of the garden recently. Unfortunately, the camera cord has come up missing. Anyway, my lettuce in the pots on my backporch has produced about all it's going to, but it has provided plenty of salads and lettuce for my sandwiches. I also picked quite a few peas the other day. With only one row,I don't really have a whole lot of them, but they make great toppings for salads. I also picked a few yellow squash as well, but I haven't eaten any yet. These are from the seedlings that I grew in the garage. I also have tomato plants on the backporch, in the same pots as the lettuce. They have a bunch of blooms on them. I'm trying to decide what herb to use to replace the lettuce that is now thinning out.
