Hi all...hope your Christmas was as good as ours....especially after a stressful escape of Aurora's family's new pup...but good news...the little guy was found the day after he bolted...thank goodness he was chipped!!
Our Teri could only stay for a short time, but presented me and her dad with a beautiful hand made Green Man she bought from the couple who made it...he is hanging on the house, I have also posted a close up of it. It is in layers...just lovely.
Then a cultural bottle of Tequila from our Aurora..which we'll toast our 41st anniversary tomorrow (the 29th) and again to toast in 2012.....this bottle will last us a while, being 80 proof, lol
G.G. is one of my happiest places, so glad I found you all. (^_~) Wishing you Very Well Always
Which
ever star guides you...may it bring you strength, patience, guidance
and the joy of being the best person you can be....may it remind us how
blessed we truly are and how much we are loved (^_~)
Greetings all, hope you're looking forward to a wonderful Christmas.
One of our favorite series (British) location was in a model village 'n railway. It was stunning, down to the miniature trees!! All bonsai...here is the link, check it out....what a beautiful place.
Hi all, hope you all had a nice weekend and your week is off to a good start.
Yesterday we spent the day with a friend we were stationed with in Two Rock, Ca (just 60 miles from Vacaville) when Aurora was only 5 yrs old 'n Teri was 7 yrs old. Her daughter, Samantha and Aurora were pardners in 'mischief, lol. They re-connected last year on the web, now Robin (her mom) and I are connected. But being with them both yesterday was a true joy...she is still the calm and sweet person I remember.
Samantha designs gift items for a U.S. company and travels back and forth to China...and other fun places. The gifts they brought us are some of their products. I'm way crazy about my new apron, the mug and tea pot with all those positive reminder will be helpful too, lol.
Robin took back some creeping thyme with her...she lives in Georgia and it should do okay there. Both picked some wrist warmers, bead pixies and took back four new snowman ornaments. Hopefully, we can plan a longer visit next time.
Samantha is on the left, then Robin and Me (the two portraits on the wall were done by our Aurora, Rick's Dad, in oil and my Auntie Charlene in pen 'n ink)

and my new garden apron and new tea
Oh, and notice the lovely job Rick did on our new front door...we installed it and he painted it...(he did the rim around the glass by hand)
