My son found the first Japanese Beetle of the season this morning while waiting for the bus. That started our annual beetle hunt- picked 10 off of the wisterias.

Other than a few last things to pack we are ready to hit the road tomorrow morning (6 am is our projected departure time).

I'm going to be watering all of the gardens very well tonight. It'll be the last watering they will get for a little over a week! Unless we get rain....

Logan's bus just got here. Last day of school!!! It is now officially summer :)
