Slow but sure progress......I will gladly take that. :) The weather temps coming down a bit has helped alot. I have been working on cleaning out another bed in the veggie garden. Its not done, but its coming along. There is a problem with fire ants in the walkway right next to it, so that will have to be dealt with.
Today I got some starts to go in one of the beds, I guess whichever bed is clean up first is where I will plant them. I got Broccoli, Green Cabbage, an Early Girl Tomato and a spearmint. Yes, that spearmint will be in a pot only! Although it wouldn't hurt my feelings a bit if a little of it made its way into the lawn. Wouldn't that smell wonderful when mowing? Except then when the clippings were dumped in the perennial beds, it would probably start up everywhere. I will have to just stick to the pot I guess.
Here is a picture of the new babies.

The onions we started, in the last bed we planted, are doing good. They have all sprouted and are growing.

I also found this pretty butterfly fluttering around the flowers today. Very pretty.

An updated picture of the onions...they are going good. I will thin them to give 1/2 of them more room and we will have nice fresh green onions to eat.
